Can anyone explain to me the costs/labor involved in putting a turbo into my 22re. I have seen the manifolds online but as far as that, im not sure what direction im heading to.

If you check out www.Lcengineering.com That's the only place i would trust getting a turbo kit for my 22re...I's a sick t3/t4 hybrid. Look at spending over 2 grand for a kit and about another grand in a rebuilt kit including lower compression gaskets. I was thinking about doing it but hey I don't have a money tree. You could also check out this place www.Gotpropane.com They have some sick turbo propane injection kits for a reasonable price....but I doubt you'd want that as a daily driver. Anything that can idle at 250 rpm without stalling and can take any angle is cool with me. As for the 22Rtec...Ive heard the blocks are different but i doubt that. The only thing i can see being different is the computer and vacuum setup. I've read that if you run stock compression you would only be able to push 4-6 psi....but if you run a lower compression you can hit around 16psi....in that case....you might want to invest in a rear locker.
