New Truck

I want to upgrade from my 87 Pickup 22r to a newer used truck. What would you guys suggest? Something like a T100 with a V6, or a Tacoma with a v6. I definatley want a V6 if you couldn't tell, i've been stuck with a 4 banger for too long, and I would like to find a truck with manual transmission because manual is so much better. So tell me what you think I should get.

The Tacoma is basically the same truck from 95-04, but the engines changed along the way, and more options became available as time went on. For example, 2001 was the first year for the Double Cab, where you effectively got 4 doors - little ones on the side allowed easier access to the rear seat.
