Tire sizes

What is the largest tire I can put on my 2000 reg. cab 4x4 Tacoma without changing rims or adding a lift kit. I have p26575r15's now on 7 inch wide rims.

I wanted to buy BF Goodrich AT KO's

Here's a table from the 2000 Owners Manual.
It lists tire size, wheel size for that tire, and recommended front / rear pressure (psi)

P195/75R14, 14 x 5J, 29 / 35
P215/70R14, 14 x 6J or 14 x 6JJ, 29 / 29
P225/75R15, 15 x 6J or 15 x 7J or 15 x 7JJ, 26 / 29
P265/75R15, 15 x 7J or 15 x 7JJ, 26 / 26
31x10.5R15LT, 15 x 7J or 15 x 7JJ, 26 / 29

I've got a set of Cooper Discoverer H/T tires in 31x10.5LT. They're excellent when it comes to road noise - much quieter than a more agrressive tread pattern. Traction is good, but once in a while if I hit the gas too hard from a dead stop and the bed is empty, they'll break away. That's with the V6 in 2WD mode.

There aren't any issues with the speedometer with the large tires. After I had them installed, I checked the speedometer on the expressway with a stopwatch. It still reads about 5% faster than I'm really going. I would have thought that the bigger tires would have made it read lower. (Larger circumference = fewer revolutions per mile.)
