RV4 maintainess tip needed

My 2002 RV4 is appoaching 30k miles recently, I called the dealer, they quoted the price for 30k is around 400$, does anyone know anything about this and is it normal?
Where else can I get similar service at cheaper price?

Dealers are really good at adding things to a service package like a "30K service" that you really don't need.

When you ask for such a thing, the next question to ask is "what does that include?" Then, consult your Owners Manual to see what it says you really need at that interval. Chances are the dealer added a couple of extra things, so if you go back to the dealer and tell them exactly what you want, the price will come down.

if you have done every 5K miles oil change (use only Mobil 1 full synthetic), every 15K AT & Diff. oil change and ratation with alighment, you dont need anything.
If not, just ask them to flush and replace oil in AT and Diff, and thats it. nothing more.It will cost you aprox.150.
