suspension question

ive been recently looknig for new shocks for my 92' pickup and seem to be partial to Skyjackers. I have really old ranchos on now which are hard as a rock, and are rusted and really ugly. Any good/bad about skyjackers? Also, i see that the sell them with like 1-2" of lift. Will the shocks alone lift my truck 1 or 2", or will they only work if the truck is lifted with all the other goodies on it? Im not talking about trying to use them alone to lift it like 6 inches, but 1 or 2 wouldnt be bad except for maybe the CV and front axle angles. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Adam,
I had Skyjacker shocks on a '73 Bronco that I installed a 6" Skyjacker suspension lift on and I thought that the shocks were plenty good enough.
The shocks that you're looking at (with 1-2" lift) are for a vehicle that already has 1-2" of lift. Shocks alone will not provide lift... But when you install a suspension lift, you have to get longer shocks.

ok, thats what i thought. I just thought id shoot it out just in case. These ranchos are older than dirt and the fronts are sagging a little. (truck looks lower in front than rear). I found a local 4WD shop that is a delaer for Skyjacker. Ill probably order the Skyjackers this week from them. thanks for the help.
