Flow master, magna flow, or a cherry bomb, for a muffler? im looking to get good power out of it, and some noise. Oh, 85 pickup std cab, short bed. 4x4 efi sr5
i want a flowmaster, for their wonderful tone, i was test driving an s10 with a flowmaster, and O man that was better than anything.i am thinking about 2 or 2.5 in piping afterwards, is that too much? i heard not to go above 2.5 with my truck, 2.4 22re-c
2.5 is the best. Anything over that is un-necessary and i think may not provide enough back pressure that's needed. The flowmaster is the best in my opinion.

Thanks, i am pretty sure i am gonna go with the flowmaster, i like their sound, and they give some hp. I heard the magnaflow got 28hp increase, but that was the pipes and the muffler. Would the size of pipe matter for hp?
Well if u want more torque get 2.25 pipes if u want topend get 2.5 nothing bigger or you will have no backpressure and torque. Try stright piping it lol if its legal.

I put a delta 50 in my 98 taco. I love it so much. Sounds deep and mellow and gives noticeable power especially in acceleration. You'd probably want something a little louder like a delta 40 or just the 40 series. It's up to you. On my truck I have no piping after the muffler. I like the way it looks, not being able to see it from the back, plus it's a little louder. Works great for me.
