tricks for getting stuck rotors off

Does anyone have any tricks for getting a hopelessly stuck from brake rotor off of a '01 tacoma prerunner?

what have you tried so far? is rust involved? check all connections, nuts, calipers, etc. have you tried WD-40 and a rubber mallet?

slide hammer maybe....... or some sort of puller

try spraying PB Blaster where it's rusted on and letting it sit for 10 min or so then try again

First check to see if the rotor is attached to the hub. Some models have the rotors bolted to the back side of the hub. You have to remove the hub and then remove the rotor from the hub.

If it is not attached to the hub any type of puller that is large enough to grab the outside of the rotor will work. Spray it good with wd-40 or other rust loosening lubricant. If you are NOT planning on saving the rotor, give it a couple of good whacks with a ball peen hammer.

pb plaster and light it on fire, it sounds crazy but it worked for me after its lit and burns down hit it whit a hammer on the outer edges a little bit all the way arround

spray it down really good with whatever penetrating oil you want. Usually on Toyotas they have two holes in th face of the rotor that you can run bolts into to basically puch the rotor off. JUst go slow so you dont damge the rotor.
