air conditioning problem

i have a 1996 runner with 69k on it great shape but no air conditioning,everything else plus

sunroof. the dealer has a factory kit and will install it for 1400 bucks , its it worth the cost and

resale , i will only use it for maybe two months of the year and wondering if anyone did this

and any advise
