downey headers

I went with downey headers on my 92 toy 4x4 V6 and they rock.. I lucked out and had them installed when I had the recal done with the head gasket and a nice new short block... It is a major job on the V6. You must go with the 2.5" exhaust which a local shop can make and a high flow cat... which I take out after every air care. I have the stainless and they still look and sound great after two years you can also get them ceramic coated...but don't think it's needed.

they say that aluminum is better that stainless steel for heat because it disipates the heat quicker than steel does. be aluminum is a "softer" metalthat steel, so it can also warp. aluminum has weight advantages as well.
