Canada front or rear

i've been doing some research on lockers, and have found information supporting both front and rear lockers. right now i'm only planning on getting 1, so i'm wondering if anyone has any input on which differential to put them in first, front or back. thanks in advance for any answers

Without a doubt, the first locker goes in REAR!

ok, thanks a lot guys, i kinda figured that, but i read somewhere that on an ifs truck, (which i have) it'll be a lot better to put them in the front, but everywhere else i read said rear, so that's what i'm gonna end up doing now. I'll probably get one for the front eventually, depends on how hardcore i get into wheeling.

good choice

what kind of monster are you creating? mud, rocks, trail? im gonna put two lock rites in. at the same time, or maybe an eaton in the rear, cause would the locker effect the front, unless the front was locked? right? trying to clear some issues with my brother

umm, well whatever arises really, there's a fair amount of logging roads, which you can find some pretty wicked deactivated roads on, and a buncha hill climbs, and mud, so kinda all around just a trail rig. I'm not planning on building it for just one single purpose... yet..... but the question about the front, the locker will not affect the front end, unless you have the hubs locked in and you are in 4x4. That was actually one of the reasons why i considered a front install with the locker first, 'cause i do a lot of winter driving here in B.C. and I wouldn't have to remove the locker after every season if i had it in the front. but i'm thinking i'm gonna go for rear for the first buy. oh, and have you heard anything about aussie lockers?
