New to the fourm. I have a 99 Tacoma 4x4 4 cyl. and I want to put in a new gauge cluster with a tachometer. Mine does not currently have the tach. I have found two different clusters. One is from a 97 and the other is from a 2004. They tell me that the 2004 will fit in my 99. I do not know if that is true. Does anyone know? Also both are from 6 cyl. models. I was also told that if I put one of these units in my 4 cyl. it will not read the RPM's correctly. Is this true?
