it is true. the engine really isnt "underpowered." with a completely stock pickup the engine would do just fine. but when u add on larger tires and a lift it slows it down a ton. i will look into stuff when i get a quote for the rebuild. if it is a reasonable quote then i will find things i can do to give it a little more hp. at the moment i am lookin at exhaust/intake/header but that all comes after this engine situation is taken care of.

I vote either the 3.4 or 2.7....both are great on gas and have plenty of torque.

ok. what else is good about those engines? do u have any other info about engines such as any positive/negative feedback u ahve heard, do u know the pricing of those for buying a rebuilt enginge?
