fuel filter?

can i cut my line and install anyother fuel filter? my oem filter is seased and i am planning on cutting the line and using a rubber line attached to another filter and back to the rubber line, sooooo anyother filter would work?

nah cutting minz which is the 95 V6 is under the passenger side with a cover over it, i bloke my cover used a vice grip on lock to try and take this thing off, it wont even budge, i soaked it 3 days in a row with WD40 and nutting, so anymore pressure ill break the line, so i decide im gonna cut it just wanna know if the filter ill change any diffrence in pressure

You can splice in a new filter, but it needs to be the same type. If not, you could have constant fuel pressure issues.

im assuming you have fuel injection ....if so forget about it. your pump more than likely has too much pressure for some cut and hack job using rubber hoses and clamps. replace the whole line if you cant get it off
