Upgrading the ECU
Is it possible?I've got an 88 with 22R-E, and I'm working on the project of putting a full computer in my glove box with touch LCD where the stereo goes. Sofar I've got it all planned out, but I was reading and found that the ecu can be read by the computer in the computer in the glove box, and I could get engine error codes, speed, gas, ac, etc. all through windows. Problem is, that the system, called OBD-II, is only installed on cars 95 and newer. Any way I could get the OBD-II in my old 88?
