How many O2 sensors on 93 toyota pickup?

I thought there might be 2, is this correct?

An additional question is that I had the truck inspected and I had replaced a faulty spot weld that held the mount for the O2 sensor and they said it was not an acceptable fix. I think otherwise. Remember this is not a load bearing bracket at all. They wanted over 500$ to replace the sensor and replace a small section of pipe before the catalytic convertor where I had fixed. What can I expect to pay at a reasonable shop? Thanks

yes, two; one before the cat, one after.

you can get new sensors online for anywhere between $45 and $150 (aftermarket vs. Denso)
if that shop is asking more than $500, they better be talking about replacing everything after the exhaust manifold. for that kind of money, you can get a street legal system from Downey or LC Engineering and install it yourself.

According to my '94 T100 shop manual there are two O2 sensors on the California models, only one one those sold in the normal states.

The answer is...it depends. Usually there is just one. However, California required two because of more strict emissions and air quality standards. They will be located in pretty much the same location, just one before and one after the catalytic converter.
