fuel filter help needed

im sooo pissed 1st off i couldent take the oem bolts of my oem filter thats a 95, so i decided to cut the lines and got bolts to fit the new filter dam thing started leaking like crazy the bolts were not meant for the filter altho if fitter perfectly i took 3+ hrs just to do that and put back the original filter. just thaught id say how much im starting to hate this pickup 95 v6 truck, no parts, no after market parts

Yup, I have problems finding parts for my truck all the time too. But cutting lines? Always a bad idea. I know AEM makes fuel filters for toyota trucks, and if you're problem is the bolts, WD40 the shit out of them and just keep going at it with a rachet.

i wd40 it for 2 min 3 days in a row, but now that its off i can get a better shot at it and hopefully its still good, anf then ill add it back with rubber lines, or im gonna call toyota tommoro and see if they got it, i hope they dont tell me i gotta change the whole line

Canada pb

G'day,

Hard to beat that PB Blaster, Ive found the torch works good on those fuel filter bolts as well, took care of the whole problem altogether.

The torch probably wouldn't be a good solution to his problem, especially since he already leaked gas all over everything........but I guess he can try it if he wants....
