94 a/c compressor question

Hello everyone, I have a question about my trucks a/c. I have a 94 4cyl and when I bought it it didn't have an a/c compressor. I got one off ebay and it has some part numbers on it 10pa15c, 147200-5421, s593488. Anyway the truck previously had a/c so it has all the lines and evap canister and condensor and all that, but when I hooked up this compressor the lines didn't fit into it. Right shape, just different diamaters. I got an extra set of lines when I bought the a/c compressor and those don't fit the truck? So I guess my question is if anyone has experienced this what do I need to do to get a/c in my truck. Any part numbers would help. Also since the compressor fits the truck but the lines don't fit where they attach the compressor can I just get that part they attach on to? The compressor I have says r12 on it also. Thanks in advance.

eep

i wouldnt use an R12 compressor for 134a. the molecules for 134a are smaller and the seals werent designed for it, or the 134a oil, thats even more true for the hoses. you can try the conversion but you must flush the R12 oil out of the system and replace the dryer, and i would replace the o-rings since you got it apart anyway. most conversions seem to go ok, some leak like a bitch. is the comp new? sorry i cant help with part #'s but in a pinch you could use the hoses that fit the new comp and have the ends remade for a few bucks.

you can use one but it would need to be rebuilt because the stock compressor on a 94 is 134a the seals inside the r12 compressor will more than likely fail prematurely if you dont change them out because the 2 refrigerants are not compatible but the compressor would be compatible if it has the seals retrofit for 134a

if you use it you will need to replace the seals with 134 seals...and the hoses as well. r12 system rubber peices and 134 refer is not compatible. the 134 will slowly leak out of any r12 rubber parts.
