Need some knowledgeable advice. Please help if you can......
I have a 1982 Toyota 4x4 Truck. When I bought the truck it flooded very bad. I took the truck to a guy and he told me that the diaphram was cracked inside my carb so he took a small ball bearing and put it inside the diaphram line which in turn solved my flooding problem. Now the problem that I need help with is that in warm weather the engine will not idle. As long as I am giving the engine fuel it is very smooth, and sometimes the engine will idle on it's own in warm weather, but when I turn the truck off and start it back up it does not want to idle again. I figure that the truck is losing fuel pressure but, and it won't idle until the fuel pressure builds back up. But here is the odd part. On nights when the weather is cool the truck idels perfect, and never even trys to die while idleing. Is their something I can do to keep the truck from dieing in warm weather or some things I can trouble shoot to try and fix this problem. I know this post is quite long, but I wanted to get the problem out so someone may be able to help me. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank You and Have A Nice Day.
