Crazy comparison....

Which vehicle would get off the line better...both stock...an 87 toyota truck 4x4 withw 22re 5 speed...or a previa 4 banger with auto tranny?

I know it;s stupid...please give some opinions?

Ya, I have an 87 and its a dog off of any line. But offroad, it would drop bombs on the previa.

Yeah, and do the same race on a twisty road course and the Previa would leave the truck in the dust.

I've got a 22re auto, 2wd lowered and I can keep up with a Pontiac Grand Prix, but the 4x4 should be sluggish on the road.

Thanks, i know the power numbers for previa are 138 HP and 150 lbs of torque. I am using that as a mark to decide what truck to get. I want somethin that's safe in traffic, and I am scared with anything less than th acceleration of the previa.

I would get the 87 Pickup. I loved those gen trucks, and the 22R is a great engine.
