USA Oil pressure switch thread pitch and manual hub conversion

I have a 2003 Tacoma with a 2.7L engine and want to install an oil pressure gauge. Does anyone know the thread pitch of the pressure switch in the block? I want to make a tee for the gauge sender and the factory switch without removing the switch to measure it, Also, I am going to install a manual locking hub conversion kit. Has anyone done this? And if so, any tips or horror stories? Thanks!

The thread spec for your oil pressure sensor is 1/8" BSPT (not NPT, not BPT --- BSPT).

More details on the BSPT threading can be found in this CustomTacos thread:

While I have not done the manual hub conversion on a Toyota specifically, it still should be an easy job, under 1/2 hour. My 1984 had factory manual hubs and the new Tundra has a center disconnect system.

I did a Dana 44 front axle on a Ford, ten minutes per side.
Remove cap screws from cover and remove cover.
Remove snap ring retainer clip and snap ring with needle-nose pliers.
Remove inner hub assembly.
Install new inner hub and snap rings, per installation instructions.
Install new cover with capscrews provided.
Test for proper operation.
