would it be possible to fabricate an electric rear window? basically putting a window like on the 4runner or on the new trucks into a pickup? it seems like there would be plenty of room behind the seats and between the cab and the bed to add space for the motor and window slides.
does anyone else think this is possible? maybe im to much of a dreamer

Anything is possible with money but i am sure you have sunk enough onf the greenbacks into your older Toyota.
the main problem that hinders your idea is that you would want to keep the window mechanism inside the body (like the driver and passenger windows). first of all there is no room to slide a window down into the cab wall (especially including the gears). second, it may be more beneficial to think up an idea that would allow you to manually take out the rear window (like you can manually remove the rear top on the old 4runners). other than that, use the money to buy better tires, radio, speakers, etc.
well, im not thinkin about doin this......yet......if ever. i just wanted to know if anyone thinks its possible, or if someone has done it. i really think it would be a cool thing to see. put a nice yota decal on the back. oh yeah
