USA A/C light flashing

Last night my wife was driving our 2003 4runner, and to avoid an oncoming car, ran over a median about 4-6 inches high. Everything was fine, but a few miles down the road, the a/c started blowing cool instead of cold and the a/c light on the controls was blinking. We tried turning the a/c off and then on again but after a few seconds it started blinking again. The fan was working fine, it just seemed like the compressor turned off. When I got home, I checked for leaks and anything that could have jarred loose, but found nothing. I shut the engine off, waited a few minutes, and tried again, but when I turned on the a/c, several seconds later the light started blinking and the compressor turned off. The next morning, I was going to take it into service, but when I checked the a/c again, it worked fine. I drove it for about an hour, and never had another problem with the a/c.

Can someone shed some "light" on my blinking light problem? Was it a safety sensor that was tripped, or could there be something wrong with the a/c?

Thanks for your help

yeah.. you probably broke a line and the light is probably blinking to let you know there's a leak.
