Canada 2000 2.7L Engin Mods

I finally got my first Tacoma and I would like to start making some mods to the engine. Can any of you please provide me with a list of mods to start off with??? My last vehicle was a VW Jetta so I have no experience with Toyota engines.

The link below is for 4Runners, but since we're talking about the engine, most of it should be OK.

is your Truck 4wd or 2wd? well you can start off with some sort of better flowing intake most likely a CAI then your could start with exhaust new muffler and piping id get a flowmaster or whatever floats your boat then up your piping diameter to 2.50inches. If there are no emmisons laws straight pipe it otherwise get a hiflow cat. If your left with some money left over get some headers i got mine from LC or where ever its cheaper. Thats all basic upgrades for now it all depends on your time and money but mostly money and by the way what your intensions for your truck? off road, street??
