Can I add a aftermarket amp/sub to a JBL FAC. SYS

I need a little help. I was wondering how to go about adding a sub and a pioneer amp to my dad's 2005 TOYOTA SEQUOIA FACTORY DECK (JBL SYSTEM)? I did my 03 Matrix, but I'm concerned with the factory amp on the SEQUOIA. Has anyone done this? If so help me out on some tips. Will this fry the factory components if I add? So far I bought a RCA converter box.
PLEASE HELP!

You got the first step covered. You bought the convertor

Don't worry about the factory amp. Leave that hooked up and wire in the convertor box to the speaker wires.

Are you trying to add an amp for a sub or for speakers, or for both?

Have you or anyone else done this with a Tundra or Sequoia with the JBL system. I just like to be absolutely sure Not to say you haven't answered my question.

I've done it before, it's no big deal. Would you like the color codes for the speaker wires?
