Sputters when floored

I have a 2000 Tacoma, pre-runner edition with approx 62,000 miles. I bought the truck used a few months ago from a dealer with approx 61k miles. The first day that I test drove the truck, the check engine light was on and when I floored it, the truck would buck, sputter, and not accelerate. It idled fine and ran fine as long as I didn’t floor it. They fixed both the engine check light and the acceleration problem, but now the acceleration problem appears to be back. No engine check light so far. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it causing this?

Thx

Take a look at the plugs and check for vacuum leaks. You should ask them what they did to it the first time. It could have been a loose hose that just came off again.

Our F150 does the same thing, as long as we dont florr it it accellerates fine, but when you get on it... ... someone told us it was the elevation, but i was thinking of a clogged fuel filter. try running some seafoam thru your brake booster, i have to try it as well.
