Radiator stop leak

I recently replaced the timing belt on my '90 Toyota pickup. While the radiator was off, I took it to a radiator repair place to see about cleaning it - at the advise of a mechanic friend who was helping me.

The radiator guy pressure tested it and said it didn't leak and didn't need cleaning and charged $15. The radiator didn't leak before I took it to him, but it does now. He must have pressurized it tooo much. It is leaking around the seam at the top of the radiator. I'm sure the radiator guy will deny that he had anything to do with the leak. Are there any exceptional stop leak products out there.

Thanks

Becareful...
I just bought a truck with a blown radiator and head gasket. When taking it appart I found the reminants of radiator stop leak. I don't have to much experience with the stop leak stuff but I do know it will stick to anything and could possibly(possibly) slow down water flow through the block and water pump.

I just got a radiator for m radiators.com for like $110 shipped with a lifetime warranty. There is a live online chat and if thay can't answer your question, as in my case, a tech will call you back within 20 minutes or so and you can order right over the phone. My radiator was for an 87 4x4 4cil.

I've had good luck with Barr's leak, but the secret is to not leave the stuff in too long. It will probably stop the leak with in a month, sometimes right away. After it stops leaking, wait a few months, drain, and refill with fresh antifreeze.
I agree that the best thing to do is replace the radiator, or at least call the guy who worked on it.
Sometimes you don't have the time or money. I've had stop leak in mine since 97, but I drain, and refill every year. No problems.

Long time ago I turned a wrench for Chrysler. Barr's leak went into every car as part of new car prep. I don't remember any problems.

Ya, I would be careful too, stop leak stuff clogged up my water pump and thermostat. Caused a shat load of trouble and did nothing.
