remove the front heat shield, all you need is a socket wrench (i think it is 10mm, but i could be wrong) and...BAM, the manifold is right there. JK. remove the front heat shield, check to see if the leak is coming from the manifold block side or by the downpipe. if it is coming from the block, check to make sure all your studs are torqued to the correct specs. mine actually kicked out an entire stud (and took the threads with it). this is a common problem with these trucks. replacing gaskets/checking studs/resurfacing manifold (if needed) should fix it. if you go to tighten your studs, and they don't tighten down, then the threads are toast, and you will need to have that fixed (i think it is called a helicoil?).
