lifted trucks gas mileage

i have a 98 taco with the 2.4l 4cyl 2wd 5 speed, I kinda want to lift it but i dont want to sacrifce he great gas mileage im gettin ( about 25.5 like half city half highway). So i was thinking of just doing one of those base lifts and maybe puttin on either 29's or 31's, Does anybody have this setup and what are you getting

With 31's and a mild lift you may be able to get 20. Obviously with 29's or the like, it may be a little higher, but if you only but those little tires on a lifted truck, itll lookl kinda stupid. Look at my truck below, Its 4wd, but it has a 3" bodt lift and 31's. Theres alot of space left in the wheel wells, probably enough to fit 33's, buy your fenders may be configured differently because yours is newer and only 2wd. JMO

you could go with a slight body lift, 31s then throw a k&n air kit to compensate for lost mileage.
