well for those of you following ... progress is slow , but comming .

bed is almost moulded now .

rear roll pan is done , and now can start on the sides

after moulding the rear roll pan , I cut it into pieces to make it easier to work on . Sides are now , well , just sides , and can be laid on there side to be worked on .

aftrer hours of blocking , and wet sanding to 800G ... we have a mouldable side

being moulded .

ohhh ... also collecting parts .. my F1 stage 3 clutch came ..

a look at the 89-95 alteeza lights going in and the right hand side of the bed ...

side 2 is almost done ... a little more sanding and some "hi-solids" primer and blocking and we'll have side 2 done .

today I yanked out the 1st side ot of the mould .... yahhhooo it's good .

coupled it with the rear roll pan

and almost done this part ...
while I have been doing this , I have also been working on some hi clearance fenders for the 89-95 toys .... you can see them on the left of the pic .

I figured it was a better idea to start with good parts .the guy I bought it from was able to deliver it to me from Ont. and also I was able to drive the car for a few days , just to make sure . after I stripped the car of everything I wanted , I was able to sell the shell as well .

for me .... it was the only way .
