1987 Toyota truck-Head gasket

My uncle, on the way back to chropus christi today blew a headgasket on his 87 toyota truck. im not sure of the model designation but its the small truck (what later became the tacoma). it has a 4 cylinder with the 4spd manual trans and 250,000 miles. is there anything special about this engine to watch for when doing a headgasket replacement? ir is it pretty straightforward like most toyotas?

oh and FWIW, its carbuerated, not EFI.

NVM, got it done, running perfectly...in about 6 hrs.
