Hey folks, I've recently read a lot of complaints about Tacomas. I've had a couple myself. If you want a Toyota that is the no-holds-barred off roader, here it is.
Yeah they are sweet but they're not a Toyota, they just based its look off the old FJ 40. The whole thing is hand built. They've been out for a few years now, they had one at SEMA last year. For 80 K though I'd rather do my own FJ 40 build.

They ain't cheap, but check them out. It'll make your worm crawl.
This has been available for about a year now. The last I saw there was a wait of 3 years and if you provided an FJ40 (they modify the frame, and use some other stuff) it would cut it down to a little over a year. I belong to the Toyota Land Cruiser Association and they did a big write up on it. Definetely one of the coolest FJ40's I have seen in a while.
I saw one today on a tow truck on 405 freeway. Looks like it was being delievered. I gotta say, its pretty damn nice! I kept looking and wondering what was the maker. Front bumper was ARB and I noticed AR mojave wheels. It even had a 5th rim for the spare. I read its like $88k+ for this sweet ride.
