Why would he lie? Why can't you believe that Toyota is actually capable of making a bad truck? Are you really that blindly loyal to think Toyota is immune to making a lemon? Wow.

FYI, there was a dissatisfied GM truck owner who posted his lemon story on a GM website and NOBODY questioned him on his honesty. Newsflash!!! Trucks are mechanical and every make has it's share of lemons. Get over it!!!

Nice to see he wised up and bought a real truck now.

Sounds fishy to me, I've read lots and lots of posts about Tacos in many forums, some with some issues about their Tacos, but so much shit in a single truck is hard to believe.

My 2006 isn't abused, but it's rided hard all the time and so far I have no complaints, the only isue was a faulty clutch pressure plate at 1046 miles, that got replaced, at the dealer, it took them 21 days to solve the issue due to parts availability and I was really pissed with the situation, after this incident (Truck was 18 days old) I have wheeled it everytime I can and I can say it's the best truck I've ever had.

Sorry, but I can't believe that all that crap happened to a single truck in such a short mileage.

My mom once had a pontiac grand prix that was a lemon, but then again lots of grand prix those yrs were lemons.

Sorry I don't buy it

Usually lemons have one or 2 things that can't be fixed for whatever reason, but so much shit is totally incredible.
Sounds like a Toyota conspiracy to screw this guy only and only him.

my best friends bro rags the freak out of every truck he had(hes rich). then he got a taco and he cant get it to stop. he drove it through a saltwater marsh just to see how far he could get. he sunk it up 1 inch from top of wheel well.(with 3inch lift and 33inch superswampers) and left it there for about a day till they could get a tractor. still friggin ran. and he is the reason i bought a taco. the only thing was it smelt like old dead baby fetus.

I found this guy's truck listed for sale on another site. Here's the description he gave of the truck in his ad:

*ACTUAL PHOTOS* Take advantage of large down payment and apx $3000.00 in added options , 2 way car starter, tonneau cover ,chrome kit, doors handles and mirrors ,after market 2 setting hi /low heated front seats ,truck is in mint shape very sharp NEVER off roaded or towed . Must sell need truck to tow fifth wheel for work comming up in fall ,$422 per month cheapest lease around Take over this lease for 35 months for only $422.61 per month plus taxes with $0.00 total cash down. It currently has 36000 km's and you can drive it up to 96000 km's at no extra cost - which is equivalent to 20571 Free kms per year.

My favorite part of the description: "truck is in mint shape."

CBPROV, if you truly are having all these problems and your truck really is as much of a lemon as you say it is, you should be honest with prospective buyers. Show a little integrity.

i'm only playing devils advocate here!

If the truck was minted as a lemon, then, it is technically still in mint shape.
