That would cost an arm and a leg to implement. For example: if you were to put that your car and were involved in an accident which totals your car; your insurance agency would only reimburse you for the max. amount that your car is worth. Not to mention as one member said, the decline of safety with the reduction of the side pillar. Asshat idea, unless used on a show car.

No side pillar is nothing new. Every car or truck on the road that has the little suicide half doors do not have a B-pillar. Basically any truck that is a cab and a half with doors is lacking a B-pillar. The Saturn, RX-8, New Mini wagon, FJ Cruiser, etc.
