UK Greatest Toyota Truck Ever

In your opinion fellow Toyota Enthusiast, what was the greatest Toyota truck/suv ever made? Overall, everything must be taken into consideration: Durability, power to gas mileage ratio, off road performance/on road performance, repair difficulty/part availability, style, workability/playability, and anything else you can think of. also be prepared to back up your answer.

In my opinion it was the 85 Toyota SR5 Extended Cab 4x4. It still had a straight axle and it also had the fuel injected 22re. It was a great truck and as near indestructible as a little Toyota could be.

Now that's a hard one.there are too many exceptional models to choose from. There are hilux models outside of North America that are just awesome and I don't have enough knowledge about the latest generation to comment about them.BUT,I have NEVER heard anyone say"My Toyota truck sucks"

In my opinion...

In my opinion, its gotta be the 1987 toyota 4runner sr5 22re-t Auto tran 4 wheel drive manual locking hubs, with detachable shell and front IFS. You can take the shell off and fit a wheeler in the back, unmatchable 4 cylinder gasoline power. perfect weight distribution, and overall low weight, resulting in great gas mileage. it has a bullet proof engine and heavy duty drivetrain. fit five people comfortably, or put the seats down, throw a twin size mattress in the back and go camping. and in my eyes a good looking truck too. i've never seen anything that could outclimb it stock. it could put a mountain goat to shame.
