Diesel Trd Sr5?

when is toyota or maybe they have.. a deisel preferably turbo diesel TRD Extra CAB Pickup?

has anyone ever seen one of know if they exist or can be imported.?.. i dont want a gas vehicle anymore. i want to have the option to run alternate fuels. i have own many pickups - tacoma - extra cab - . In south america id drove turbo diesel toyota's and they were great.. why no in the USA?

the main reason north america has alot fewer diesel powered vehicles is simple CALIFORNIA

you can get older one's imported, not sure of the american rule for that, but in canada, they have to be 15 or older. i recently picked up a toyota hilux surf, which is essentially a diesel 4runner, once the head problem was taken care of, its been great. now i just have to regear it for our highway speeds.

The way the price of gasoline (petrol for Australians) is going I suggest that everyone convert their Toyotas to diesel as they are more:

fuel efficient
higher torque
waterproof
simpler
reliable
safer
can idle all day long
less overheat episodes
can burn bio diesel or vegetable oil (without glycerin)
