So I pull into the parking lot at the office witch we share with 2 baracks buildings and I see another silver Tacoma couple spaces over with a busted in tailgate with the driver still sitting in the cab. This is very common on army posts, too many young guys that cant drive with to much deployment $. I see 2 dented up double cabs every day driving in for PT and I passed one in the ditch flipped on its roof 2 weeks ago just outside one of the gates

I no longer use my tailgate:

So I go over and ask the guy if he wants to buy mine.
He says "sure how much, I was going to ask you about that"
I say $100

He says "Fuck yeah, the body shop was trying to charge me $700"

Im thinking about just telling him the guy 2 blocks down with the F'ed up black DC wants it for $300 and is going to just repaint it on his own. Or the guy 1 block away with the F'ed up black Access cab tailgate.
