Any one, want warm weather?

Well, I sure can say, I am ready for spring and, every thing it brings! Fishing, camping, warmth, more daylight and, lets not forget more girls out!
Anyway, today I thought it would be a good idea to put the fishing rods on the truck for the first time and, wet a line.

Well, I would say not such a hot idea, an hour later, hands were numb and, only one Bass caught not even worthy of a pic. Maybe, still a few weeks to go, man I am over the cold.

No pun intended.

Haha I hear ya man - the winters aren't even that bad here but I'm so tired of cold and snow at this point. Spring/Summer can't come soon enough

Winter sucks.

I am however very interested in your fishing pole set up in that bed! How does it work? I like!

Judging by the things you listed I think we would get along just fine. I too am tired of this crappy weather. The forecast is cold and rainy for the next week, sure makes working outside suck, but there is some hope. Trees budding, grass greening and birds again spring is around the corner. I like your rod setup, I had the same in my Tundra. I've still got to get something worked out for my short bed. We should have a biggest catch thread this season. Pics mandatory of course.

Where do you fish up here in the area? Im going out this week if the weather cooperates for shad. Stripper should be up in the river for spawning soon whan the weather warms a bit.

Just like the DOC said, cept I used the Berkley Twist lock rod racks

I cut the rack down to a two rod holder, then cut the ends off the section I tossed and, melted the ends back to the sectione I used and, I used emblem tape in conjuction with nuts bolts and, fender washers on the back side, works nice for getting the rods up off the bed.
Well, as to where I fish in the area, there are lots of ponds lakes and, streams in the DC area and, I think you would be surprised on some of the fish said ponds are holding. opening day of Trout season was yesterday but I did not want to stand a-hole to elbow, in the cold, so I got my sleep on instead Anyway, as for the big fish thread I guess we need to pick a kind of fish, I say Lrg mouth, just hope this season is better than last, this was the big one for last season.

And, the big rainbow for last year, was caught by my buddy, not a great year, in the area, But I have my hopes up for this season.
