why? i dunno.
what am i gonna do with it? i dunno.
it's the total base model, 4cylinder 5 speed, crank windows, etc. with 200k and it runs like a top.
it's about as mint as you can get for a 96, the interior looks as good as my tacoma's does.
speaking of tacoma, second pic with the beast to "keep it legit" as greysky says..
first thing's first. ditching the running boards, putting on some 31's with black steel wheels.
Good for you! My Dad had a 95 4Runner, loved that thing. The 95 was the last year with the tailgate (thank god) we had all kinds of trouble with the window getting off track in the tailgate. Glad to see you got the hatch.
would say trail rig but looks like you already have one

i think really the motivation was that i'm trying to convince the old lady that she needs a 4runner. she has a yaris and i hate it. she wouldn't budge on the 4runner thing though, doesn't want a "big truck" so, whatever, i'm just going to take it home. if she wants to drive it, fine, if not, i'll find something to do with it or sell it.
tony-i actually traded one of my dirt bikes straight across for it. my bike was worth about 3k if that helps you.
^^I hear ya. My wife used to drive a Lincoln before the 4Runner, and nothing against Lincoln, but I just don't like cars at all. The 4Runner is a decent "SUV", very truck like.
yeah, i figured this bodystyle was a decent compramise since it's still fairly "small" compared to the new ones. we'll see if it flies or not. i'm gonna say no but we'll see.
she's 5' 0" so she really doesn't feel comfortable driving big cars-she won't go near the driver's seat of my truck.
