Need to vent!

Man this had been a shitty week for me and my taco.

Some ass hat puts a 1" X ~ 24" scratch on my fender flare. Bleh..its not that bad, it will come out with some buffing... Still a pisser.

Ordered a SGII. Got that in the other day. The colors dont work and it reads off. It says Im getting 1 - 3 mpg on average and there is some other screwey stuff going on with it. Called Linear Logic, No problem, we will have a new one on its way. Cool!

The other day I had to take my truck to my friends shop to get new alignment papers to get my reconstruction permit. Hes not there and has one of his workers put my truck on the rack. He cant get the sensors on the wheels and starts jamming them on. Scratches one of my wheels. Then when my friend starts doing the alignment, he has some gadget that sits on the seat and locks on to the steering wheel. When I back the truck off the rack, I noticed that he/it got grease on my wet okoles...

Ahh and the one that made me want to post this.

Ordered some Westin platinum step bars from Truck alterations.
Just got them in last night, started to install them today when I got home from work.
1st problem, missing hardware. ahh both Westin and TA are closed by now (Hawaii time). OK no problem, Ill just install one side so I can get a feel for the look and usefulness or lack of? and Im sure they wont have a problem sending the missing parts and Ill throw the other side on when it gets here. Install the plates on the frame (drivers side is a PITA!) hook up the rear side of the bar, lift the front...WTF? It seems kind of short?? Look over the instructions again..yep looks right? FUCK! they sent me bars for a double cab SHORT bed (I got a long bed). No one to call and bitch out at the moment, Plus Im not sure if they are going to try and make me pay for shipping this back to the mainland (again Im in Hawaii, so its going to cost an arm and a leg).
I just threw some beer in the freezer. It cant get cold fast enough.

Oh yeah, anyone on island want to pick these up from me? It would save the hassle of trying to send them back. Then Ill just re-order the proper ones (again). They are the black ones. If anyone is interested send me a PM.

Sorry to hear about the way things are going for you and your taco. Seems like when things start going bad, it all goes bad. It'll get better.

sorry to hear about the troubles. at least we have good weather!

you probably know this already, but okoles are fine in the washing machine. just don't load too much in the machine and keep an eye on them. when the spin cycle starts, stand 'em up on the side of the tub and they come out pretty dry.

Just a quick note and thread hijacking!

Putting your beer into icy water will actually chill it much faster than the freezer will. I think my timing is a little late now... but in the future remember the sink is better than the fridge.
