Well I was at a friends house just shooting off our guns and I had my trucked park off the driveway in the grass. We were done shooting and I was cleaning the gun and the mess we made. Well my friends dad shows up so my friend goes to talk to him. Well I am minding my own business when I look over and see my friend looking at the back end of my truck. I look on the ground and see red plastic everywhere. Well my friends dad leaves. I walk up to my truck and see that my tail light is busted all to pieces and have a red scratch down the side of the truck and bumper. Go figure that it has to happen when I park away from the driveway. The worst part is that I just changed all my tail lights to LEDs and 2 LEDs are broke. I dont know how someone can cause that much damage with just a car door. O well, I got his dad to say he would pay for it, but I still have to go through the body shop and everything. Just a big pain in the ass.

Well my friend is a cop and he would turn me in. It did cross my mind though

Why can't people respect other peoples property? Is it that hard to LOOK at your surroundings? Maybe LOOK to see if your door is going to possible HIT someone else's vehicle?

The worst thing is that it sounds like your friends dad didn't want to own up to the fact that he caused the damage..

you should have had your friend arrest his dad for leaving the scene of an accident. j/k
should have arrested him for being a careless douche bag though.
