There went my TRD SC.

Well I guess I won't be getting a TRD SC any time soon.

I decided to get something that the family can enjoy. I still need to gear everyone up. (Helmet, boots, pants, etc....)
2008 CRF 50 (For my son)
2008 CRF 80 (for myself and wife)

I Know I was going to get the CRF 150X but I figured since this is my son first experience with motorcycles, I'd just buy something I could pudder along with him. Also my wife (Who doesn't know how to ride) could also ride the CRF 80.
Surprisingly the 80cc bike has very nice power. Later when my son gets older he can have the CRF 80, and then I can get the bigger bike!
Any way here's a few pictures of the bikes.

My son is 7 yrs. old, soon to be 8. I figured it was about time I get him out on a bike.
Only problem is now that my truck is really high, I have a really hard time loading the bikes.

I think I need to get a bike ramp. Carrying it up will be murder on my back in the long run.

Thats awesome man. I hope my kid takes up some outdoor activities. Bike ramps are expensive, i jsut bought the ends off of EBay and cut some 2X12's to load stuff into my truck, ran me 20$!

Cool That might be the way to go!

I was considering the "Ready Ramp" because it converts to a bed extender. But I think it's like $300.

I'll look into those ramp ends!

Thanks!

Pep Boys Has a tri fold ramp for about 60 bucks. You have quite an angle with your truck being up a little higher, I usually back up to a low spot, and it works great on my Sport bikes so handling those little buggers shouldn't be a problem.
I started out on a drit bike younger then 7 bassicly it had tranning wheels. Then Got a 50. Of current year. then whent up to an 80 and eventrully to a used 250XR. Hondas will last for ever. But they are expensive. Now I have 05r6 and 07FZ1 Dont' be supprised when you son wants a street bike when he is 18. My parents said I couldn't have one. Now I have Two LOL.

I'm looking to get a TTR or TTL for me and the Girl to mess around on and to teach her to ride.

I was trying to find the ramp on pep boys website but there webiste sucks.

Oh and I just found this to. Pretty neat and only a few bucks more then the factory bed extender.
