I myself hate starting new threads but is it me or did TN step it up with the advertisements? My screen just got a lot crowded today with ad banners on the top and bottom of the page...
Personally I don't want to load something to block something. Having the ability to do it from my subscription was one of the reasons why I opted to pay the fee. Not the only reason but it played a part in my decision. If someone who is an admin or mod knows more of what is going on I am interested in their input. Yeah I could PM someone but who is best???
I didn't even know TN had ads until I checked the site with my friend's computer running IE. I can understand the need for some advertiser support, but the site looks like something from Geocities circa 1985 with all the crowded windows...
the thing is I have firefox and everything was great until yesterday...i dont have any pop ups but the section between thread tools/buttons and the forum buttons has a bunch of new ads...
The site owners put the new ads in. Yeah they suck, I see them as well. But unfortunately they are a necessary evil, we need the ads to generate revenue to keep the site going and make it profitable.
Xedge-I'm going to email the site owner about making Supreme members exempt from the ads, I can't promise anything, but I'll try.

Thanks for explaining Dana & I do realize there is no free lunch. I appreciate your efforts
