bed mat owners: like it? does it work?

hey folks,

I'm seriously considering buying the OEM bed mat.

My stuff is always sliding around and since they took the grooves from
the side of the box (like they had in my 01 tacoma), I can't slide a
2x5 in to act as a barrier.

So the bed mat - does it work as advertised? Within driving reason, stuff
doesn't fly around, but sticks to it alright?

I'd also like some ideas as to where to buy it?

I found this ebay seller, but don't know much about them.:

Cheers,
Keebler

Bedmat works as advertised. Couldn't imagine not having it.

I love the OEM bed mat when I'm driving with crap in the bed, but sometimes I want to light it on fire when I'm trying to slide something really heavy out . It does a really good job, just sometimes a little too good. I got mine from TRDParts4U.

I had the same question in April when I got my truck, and it's well worth it. I have a big tool kit I carry for work that I hate keeping in the cab and it stays put with the mat in the bed, before it'd be sliding everywhere.

I really want a bed mat but I am worried about theft. Is there any way to secure it? Do you guys leave the mat in the back of your bed all the time? I am just worried about someone wanting a mat just swiping it out of my bed. I really don't want to have to put the mat in my cab while parked.

My truck sits in airport parking garages most weeks and I was sort of concerned at first but I don't worry much now, you really have to be looking to notice it most of the time. The bigger concern for me is car washes, I went into one that nearly blew the mat out of the bed!
