2001 Tundra

Guys, what do you think about this deal? Are the '01 tundras good trucks? I know I posted in the wrong section but would appreciate any advice. My brother-in-law is in the market for a used truck. I'm steering him away from Ford.

my buddy has a tundra in that model. i think his is a 2004. same body style though. it's a niiiiice truck. his truck was actually what got me to want a toyota, while i was driving my acura tl. and when i got to the dealership i saw my tacoma, and i loved it. but yea. the trucks are solid, they drive smooth, they can take a beating, as his has a lift and offroad wheels and tires also. i like them. very nice on the inside.

the 00-06 tundras are very nice trucks. he won't be sorry, especially if he's coming from fords.

My cousin has a 2002 model, rock solid truck although I think the exterior looks a bit dated.

Nice truck, but the price is a little high, the value of used trucks right now is really low. The engine is a little under powered, non VVT 4.7's are a little lacking.

Ok, thanks for the feedback guys. I'll keep looking. My neighbor is selling his 2003 Ford Harley Davidson truck. It has 33k miles and he is asking $23K. Ummmm....no thanks.
