Who here is a HAM?

Just wondering who (if anyone) here has a HAM license, and if so, how did you mount your gear in your Tacoma?

I don't have a photo of my current setup, but this is where I mounted my previous 7800:

I had mine velcrod to the side of the console but the nevada summer made it fall off and it was in the way so I ran some screws through the back of the console and mounted it there. Works OK.

My I've got the little brother to your radio. I mounted my antenna with a comet mount that goes on my hood. Not the best looking but it works well.

Check out the link in my sig for more pictures if you want

Yeah I saw your truck before, looks good!

I have a large whip on the roof, again it's not the best looking but works well

I set mine in the little cubby hole underneath the cigarette lighter like yours. The mic slides in next to it and currently the power and coax cables run around the corner, under the dash, over the pedals, and out the firewall. I hope to cut a small hole in the back of that cubby hole and try to run the cables through it and fit the radio in there nicely. It just doesnt quite seem to fit right and I have a hard time getting anything in my power port next to the cigarette lighter. I'm not sure if it will ever fit well though.

I am KD0HO and am running an '05 Sienna. I need some ideas about how to get through the firewall. If anyone has any ideas and pics, that would be cool.
