Also, where did you hunt? I see the WA plate ...
How in the world did you get that thing in the truck bed? How many people had to help?

Its actually one of my buddies and I hunt on the Coville Reservation, kind of in central/eastern washington. Im an enrolled member. My buddy drew a tag and another one drew another and they both shot one in the same area yesterday, the other one was a monster!!! We couldnt find it yet and were still following the blood trail and will pick up on it tomorrow, he was a tough ol bastard! Also it only took me to get it in there believe it or not. If you look closely you can see that there is a pulley system thing hooked to a winch (you cant see it) right below my buck footprints on my racks (kinda by his nose). I use the winch to pull all my animals in. There was 6 of us there but it only took me to actually turn the knob and drag it all the way to the truck and up and in

I am jealous. In Utah a moose is a once in a life time tag. Most guys put in for 15-20 years before drawing a tag. I have only been putting in for four... That is awesome tho, thanks for sharing. I love seeing others being successful out in the field. Maybe one day I will have such luck.

Were they taken with bow or rifle?

And I second the posting of pictures sechsgang!

It was taken with a 30-06. This isnt the big boy, hopefully Ill get some pics of him, one of my friends had a tag and took this one and then when my other buddy that had a tag was helping him out he saw the grandpa moose! I guess its close to 50" wide but weighs closer to 2000 pounds, just big! On our reservation you can be drawn every 3 years if you arent successful on your hunt and every 5 if you are successful. They give out 40 tags a year and next year I think they are upping it to 50! We do a good job at managing them and their population has skyrocketed, they say 4 or 5 bulls in just the small area they got the 2 out of. These being the biggest 2 (hopefully have pics of the other one tomorrow). We have been tracking him hard!
