As some of you may already know..

CustomTacos.com was sold off to Autoforums..
Their rasing the rent like crazy for the venders and the forum
is on a downward spiral path of going right in the crapper..

Things are turning for the worst and i'll testing the waters on a few forums to see whats what..

We're looking at TN as if its Ellis Island.

bitchin! an arcade, i forgot all about this stuff..

I think the last time I was on this site was when i was looking for Toyota Matrix bucket seats to transplant into my Tacoma..

The Websense category "Message Boards and Forums" is filtered.

For some reason this site, CustomTacos and TTORA aren't blocked... no idea why or how that works but.. i'll take what i can get..

I did already go to a TacomaWorld Hooters meet in NJ.. that was lots o' Fun. and i like how i got an email updating me on the new things that were goin on at tacomaworld.. but i'm on a computer for work from 8am-6pm the last thing i wanna do with my free time is go home and state at a computer for another 4 hours!~ know what i'm saying? and these sites aren't too blackberry friendly.

i'm on ToyotaNation.com TacomaWorld.com CustomTacos.net TTORA.com YotaTech.com and I did register with Pirate4x4.com till they ripped me a new one for my truck having a hat.

First, welcome back!

Second, Autoforums has been good to us, they have always kept their word. I was a user, just like you, a few years back. We still do all the day to day operations here with no interference.

As for the Vendors, yes the pricetag may seem high, but we have triple the Vendors we ever had before we sold.

Give it a chance, CustomTacos wil still be the great place it was before.

Had no idea autoforums had their grips on this one as well..

Maybe you have better folks within autoforums handeling this site, donno..

I'm checking out other forums seeing how they run things..
I've really truely enjoyed the last 5 years that i've been a part of CustomTacos,
I just have this nagging feeling that there are more negative changes at hand there..

I dont understand why Nadeem insists on PM's for everything..
I'd like all the info to be in the air for everyone to breathe.. ya dig?

I understand what you are saying, the initial shock is pretty bad....for everyone including Nadeem (ironically our contact at Autoforums as well). Nadeem is a pretty good guy and has a lot on his plate, the guy is easy to deal with and pretty fair.

There are definately bumps in the road. Autoforums owning a website is not a bad thing. The owner(s) of CT have their reasons for selling.
