NORCAL: Offroading + meet/greet @ Hollister - 1/31/09

Meet and Greet at Hollister Hills SVRA on Saturday, January 31, 2009.

Meeting time will be 8:30 AM at the In-n-Out parking lot in the Gilroy outlets.

it's best that we meet up here before entering the park because there isn't any phone service in there. After In-n-Out, we'll caravan the short drive to Hollister Hills. It will cost $5 per truck to get in.

The park confirmed that there are no events on that day and everything will be open. Make sure to bring your 2-way radios.

Prerunners welcome on some/most of the trails, and X-Runners even welcome to meet and greet, and park their tacos there, then ride along with one of us.

i'm pretty sure Ken will come along (prerunner also). but even when we went with him, he didnt hold us back at all. you'll be A-OK

Where do you live in SB? I lived there for 5 years. IV for 3 and downtown for 2. It was A LOT of fun.

Here's a pic of Ken (05SCtaco) and his Prerunner on the highest point of Hollister hills, and it wasnt easy gettin there. We made it up this hill many times cuz we go down to hollister hills a lot and Ken, nor his truck, has never let us down:

Right now I'm in IV, but next year Im thinking of moving more into Goleta.

So for the meet count me in. Ill find a way to make it.

Just throwin this out there, it seems a few people from customtacos might want to camp a night. I'm willing to camp saturday night, but only if others join, haha, i dont wanna be a loser and camp alone. so...

i cant camp out. by the time i get off of work on friday and get ready to go, i'd get to Hollister and it'll already be dark out. not to mention superbowl sunday the day after.

but dont let me stop u guys from camping out. if u guys wanna do that, cool. I've actually camped out there before.
