To buy wet okoles or not to buy...that is my freaking dilemma
so i have until tomorrow to decide if i'm going to order my wet okoles at discount or not. originally i was going to wait until after vacation and all that when i don't have as much to save up for. but i'll be saving about $120 if i order now, but it'll put my wallet a little tight for a while. i dont need the waterproof-ness of them, just for looks mainly. i'm wondering if saving $120 is worth getting tight for a while.
honestly i've gone back and forth as to if i should even get them, but they look so darn good in our trucks. i dont know...

If buying a set of wet okoles is going to make things tight for you then you shouldn't even consider it. My 2 cents...
if i buy them, i'm not gonna have to go hungry or not pay any bills. i'm just going to have to watch what i spend from now until my vacation. i haven't put a lot back for it like i should have been. i did plan on buying them later this year, maybe toward the end of the year. but with this discount i'm considering now. like i said i'm just now sure if saving $120 is worth ordering them earlier than planned.
of course the girlfriend thinks i dont need them at all, then she turns around and wants a $100 pair of high heels. haha please lol. if they didnt look so good in our trucks, i wouldn't bother getting them. but they do and that's what makes me not want to pass up getin $120 off now. bleh

Go ahead!! If you can't afford them call the bank and tell them you're taking a write-down on what you owe. If the big companies can do it then surely you can to. (I know...don't call me Shirley)
I placed my order today. Black and charcoal with 1/2 charcoal piping, pockets in the back, red trd logo, free console cover, free care kit, 3 seat belt covers. I figure I deserve it.

So do you.
that's the same style i'm going to get. black and charcoal half-piping that is. i really want to get them and think i do deserve them, after all it's my money. guess i've been looking for a reason not to get them. it's kinda hard shelling out 500 bills for seat covers but i hear they are worth it lol

If you don't have the money...meaning cash...don't buy them. That is why the world and U.S. is in this mess. Living outside our means (on credit) rather than what we really NEED.
If you do have the money and plan on keeping the truck...they will keep the inside brand new and they are must for keeping the inside clean.

i'm going to charge them on the credit card, but i have the cash to back it up. so technically i have the cash to get them. i guess really the only thing i was concerned about is if i should spend my 'vacation money' on the wet okoles now just to save $120.

buying a set of covers means someone has to make them. So in a sense you are helping someone else out too. And at the same time you are saving $120 bucks. I love the set I have and they are totally worth the money. The quality and fit is awesome!
People are afraid to spend money and the economy isn't being stimulated, meaning companies have to cut down which means more layoffs. I hate how this stuff works. If you got the money go for it. If you don't you would know not to buy them because you would have to save.

ok, i have decided to order them. i do have the money, just have to watch how much i spend from now until july. also, this means no more mods probably until after july (my famous last words right ). i'm getting ready to call right now. i'll post pics just like everyone else will be when they are in. thanks for all your input guys! its great to have an un-bias opinion over having a girlfriend say, "i don't think you should get them, they are too expensive...ohhh i want these pair of heels, they are only $100."

if you dont NEED them then dont buy them. vacation ftw.
you are right, i dont NEED them. but i didn't need to lift my truck, buy the wheels and tires, do the BHLM, and so on but i did. the only reason i'm ordering them now is because of the discount/freebies i'm getting. if it wasn't for that i wouldn't be ordering them until late this year.
vacation ftw for sure! nothing is stopping me from going on vacation. i'm going to have enough money to go, i just have to watch what i spend from here until vacation. i think my problem is that i like to keep about a $2000 cushion in the bank. when i balance my checkbook out i really have $2000 left but it will read $0. it's my way of always having a cushion just in case, but for once i'm going to be a rebel and go under that 2k for a few weeks, no biggie though
