Wtf!? Ahhhhh! Fml!

So I was helping a friend move into her apartment and parked my truck out in front of the apartment complex. Two other cars parked out there, one was hers. Finish helping after a few hours to find my truck is GONE. Truck has left the building, gone just gone. So I call 911 and find out it was towed. But only MY truck was towed, the two other cars weren't. There are zero signs stating that it is not okay to park there, not a single sign regarding ANYTHING! I couldn't even find a sign for the towing company.

So I am pissed... Now I had to wait two hours for the truck to get back to the station which was only 4 miles away, just to find out that I am not allowed to pick up my truck. I need my mom to fax over a form with her picture ID stating it is okay for me to get my truck, on top of this is a $400 towing fee! Finally got home just now after arguing with the guy to at least let me get into my truck for my wallet and house keys! Better yet I cant have all these towing fees waived because there were no signs or any reason to be towed, I was towed just because and cant do anything about it unless I leave my truck there over the weekend which would then have extra premium storage fees because its a weekend.

I am very upset right now. I need to some how fix all of this tomorrow morning before I have work. Now I have to argue with some stupid apartment manager to pay for these fees, which he wont, then get all the required info to the towing company just to pick up my own car because my moms name is on it still. WHAT A NIGHT.

This event ruined my plans for my new mods to my truck (4 speakers, amp, and head unit.) $400 bucks to tow a truck 4 miles, when it shouldn't have moved an inch. No reason for it to be towed. FML!

Take pics of where you were parked, showing that there were no, "No Parking" signs anywhere, near where you were parked. Ask building management and the police if they can tell you who initiated the tow. Keep track of any time you lose from work because of this, then take the tow company to small claims court.

Thanks, I am definitely going back to take pictures. My dad told me the same but to take the apartment complex to small claims. I only ended up being 20 mins late to work because I hauled ass! Haha. I am just glad I have my truck back. Oh and I know who initiated and signed off on the tow, the female building manager.

omg Mike, sue those mofos like hell, $400 into the pocket of that driver = $400 away from your LT plans, and I wont take that BS. Go get your $400 back plus some, do work son!
